Educating The Community
Each year, over 3,000 children are born in Detroit, Michigan. With of the Detroit's residents at or below the poverty level, at least half of these children are raised in an environment of drug, violence and urban decay.By the mid-1990's almost two-thirds of Michigan's young children (under the age of 6) live in families where a single parent or both parents worked outside the home. Most of these parent (70%) worked more than 30 hours a wek with interventions; these children will enter adulthood dependent upon public assistance or street economy in drugs or positution to survive. Subject Matters beleive we can best serice our society by investing in the family structure to prepare the next generation for their roles as leaders in the community. Developing and maintaing strong neighborhoods by strengthening children and their is a priority of Subject Matters. This program was created to help students in grades k-12 to improve in study skils, homework skills, test preparation, ACT, Sat, and academically in school. We tutor adult to prepare for GED test. This comprehensive program designed to educate, edify and eventually give participants a foundation for their personal growth and ensuring growth of the community. A steadfast confidence and a healthy self-esteem are built the powerful foundation of the knowledge. We are non-profit organization that meana every donation made will totally benefit the company.
